HDMI 2.1 / HDMI 2.0 Premium Certified / HDMI 2.0 uncertified

The field of HDMI in the last 3 years

The HDMI sector has really picked up speed in the last 3 years and has been renewed several times from HDMI 1.3 to HDMI 2.1 within a very short time. One reason was, of course, that the company wanted to keep up with its competitor (DisplayPort), and another was that the quality of monitors and televisions has increased rapidly in recent years. A few years ago HD Ready or Full HD were a quality feature, today we are at 8K or 10K UHD. Since investing in high-quality end devices does not help, but the right cable is also a huge topic, we would like to lose a few measures here today. We currently have products for 4 different HMDI versions in our range:
– HDMI 1.4: FullHD @ 60Hz, 4K @ 30Hz (3840 x 2160p), 8,16 Gbit/s
– HDMI 2.0: 4K @ 60Hz (3840 x 2160p), 14,4 Gbit/s, HDR
– HDMI 2.1: 8K @ 60Hz (7680 x 4320p), 4K @ 60Hz (3840 x 2160p), 42 2/3 Gbit/s
A few more quality features are important for the user. Basically there are HDMI cables with a CCS (copper-steel mixture) inner conductor or with a CU or BC (pure copper) inner conductor. Since copper has a much higher conductivity than steel, the quality of a pure copper inner conductor is higher, but since steel is cheaper than copper, the CCS inner conductor is noticeably cheaper than the pure copper inner conductor.
Another feature of HDMI 2.0 and 2.1 are the Premium Certified QR codes. This guarantees the consumer that the cables have been tested and deliver what they promise. It is not possible to cheat here, as every cable can be traced back to the manufacturer and there is a risk of draconian penalties if it is misused. Since the need is diverse here too, you can get HDMI cables for every application and quality level from us. Of course, we are also very happy if we can advise you on the right cable so that you can then enjoy the device and enjoy it to the fullest.
